DAY 1 – First night in Oslo
Individual arrival to Oslo, the city of the Nobel Peace Prize. Check in at a centrally located hotel. Optional: overnight at an airport hotel, Oslo/Gardermoen airport.

Optional: Add city sightseeing or Fjord cruises in Oslo

DAY 2 – Flight to Tromso
Flight to the Arctic town of Tromso, beautifully located surrounded by islands & mountain peaks. Tromso is the world’s northernmost university town. Individual arrival to a centrally located 4* hotel.
You can take the scheduled Airport bus directly to the hotel.

Arctic Gourmet Dinner
In the evening we have included dinner at Emma’s famous, tiny gourmet restaurant in the centre of Tromso, where you will enjoy her 5 courses gourmet dinner based on excellent local produce. Welcome drink included

DAY 3 – Midnight Sun round trip
Time to explore the town before you will be picked up at your hotel in the evening for a 4 hour midnight sun/white night round trip, including a light evening meal with local food.
Your guide will show you the most beautiful Arctic scenery; the fjords, the islands and the open sea. You will see hundreds of seabirds and maybe the white tailed sea eagle and some reindeer. He will also tell you about the local history and the Arctic way of living

DAY 4 – Flight to Bergen
Flight to Bergen via Oslo. You can take the Airport bus to the centre of Bergen, alternatively a 25 min taxi drive. Ask for a fixed airport taxi price.
Individual arrival at a centrally located 4* hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure

The heart of Bergen

DAY 5 – Full day in Bergen
Enjoy a full day to explore the sights of Bergen, the picturesque, hanseatic town, surrounded by 7 mountains, fjords & islands. See the old Bryggen wharf (UNESCO World Heritage site), the Fish market, the Funicular to mount Floyen & the Aquarium. You can also take the hop-on hop-off city sightseeing, and a trip by cable car to the top of mount Ulriken, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding fjords & islands

DAY 6 – Fjord cruise & Balestrand
Morning departure by express boat, cruising along the scenic coast north of Bergen, passing through narrow straits, islands, summer houses and tiny villages. Then into the majestic Sognefjord, cruising on the fjord to the scenic fjord village of Balestrand. Overnight in room with fjord view.

DAY 7 – Fjord cruise & Flam Railway
Enjoy a beautiful Fjord cruise to the inner branch of the Sognefjord; the Aurlandsfjord, and the fjord village of Flam. Disembark and a short walk to the tiny train station, where you board the famous Flam Railway for an unforgettable journey from fjord to mountain – taking you through the scenic Flam valley, with the beautiful river, cascading waterfalls, mountain peaks and tiny farms.

The scenic Bergen line

Bergen line & Oslo
At the Myrdal mountain station you board the main Bergen line. After a short journey you arrive to the Finse station; the highest point of the line at an altitude of 1222 ms above sea level. Then continuing across the spectacular Hardangervidda mountain plateau & through the scenic Hallingdal valley to Oslo. Check in at a centrally located hotel
