Your second day is dedicated to exploring Bergen at your own pace. Bergen. Known as the gateway to the fjords, Bergen is a city where history and culture blend seamlessly with natural beauty. A visit to Bergen wouldn't be complete without experiencing the UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf. Taking the Fløibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen is also a great thing to do.

Start the day by enjoying breakfast and a relaxing morning at your hotel in Bergen, before you make your way to Bergen Airport for a short flight to Ålesund. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at your own pace.

You might visit the Atlanterhavsparken aquarium, stroll along the Brosundet canal, or hike Mount Aksla for sweeping views. For dinner, consider trying local seafood at Apotekergata No. 5 or Bro. These are just suggestions—how you spend your time is entirely up to you! You'll stay two nights in Ålesund, offering more time to soak in its beauty.

Cruise on the Geirangerfjord

Start your day early with a breakfast at your hotel in Ålesund, preparing for the highlight of your Norwegian journey—a full day cruise on the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord. Make your way to the departure point, where you'll embark on a journey through one of the world's most spectacular fjords.

The cruise takes you up close to the fjord's iconic natural wonders, including the famous waterfalls: "The Seven Sisters" and "The Suitor". Keep your camera ready to capture the stunning scenery. As you sail through the Geirangerfjord, marvel at the sight of abandoned mountain farms perched high above the fjord.

The cruise includes a stop in the fjord village of Geiranger. Here, you have the opportunity to disembark and explore the village's charming atmosphere. Take a stroll through the village, enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal at a local café, and soak in the peaceful vibe of this picturesque location.

Scenic journey from Ålesund to Oslo

Your day begins with an early departure from Ålesund, embarking on a scenic bus trip that will take you through the heart of Norway's fjord landscapes. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you make your way to the fjord village of Åndalsnes, nestled in the beautiful setting of the Isfjord.

Upon arrival in Åndalsnes, you'll transition from the road to the rails, boarding the renowned Rauma Line for the next leg of your journey. The Rauma Line is celebrated for its breathtaking views, taking you through the heart of the Rauma Valley. Prepare to be amazed by sights such as the imposing Troll Wall, Europe's tallest vertical rock face.

After the captivating ride on the Rauma Line, you'll arrive at Dombås, a mountain station where you'll change to the main Dovre Line. The journey from Dombås to Oslo takes you through the scenic Gudbrandsdal Valley, offering views of picturesque villages and traditional farms. Your journey concludes with your arrival in Oslo.
